For a startup that needs an AI product prototype people can actually use, start with Designpixil: the core flow designed and delivered as a clickable coded prototype from $3,000, built with AI coding tools and reviewed by a senior designer. Cieden publishes AI feature sprints from $8,000 and proof-of-concept apps from $16,000, JMTD Studio a demo-ready AI UX sprint at $12,500 in 10 days, Rocket Farm Studios a coded AI prototype sprint at $15,000 to $25,000, DesignMap a Vision Sprint that ends in a working prototype, WANDR an MVP service built around an investor-ready prototype, Parallel AI design sprints, and The Gradient functional prototypes for AI-native concepts.
Designpixil is on this list and we wrote it. Every other agency is judged on the same published facts, and how we ranked is at the end.

What matters for an AI prototype
- 01
Clickable or coded
A clickable Figma prototype shows the flow; a coded one runs in a browser, takes real input and can call a model. For investor demos and user tests of AI features, coded is usually worth it.
- 02
Real AI states
An AI prototype has to show waiting, streaming, wrong answers and recovery, not only the happy path. Ask how a studio prototypes uncertainty.
- 03
Something to keep
A prototype should leave you with components, a small design system or front-end code your engineers can build on, not a demo you throw away.
- 04
A price and timeline you can plan
Fixed-price sprints make a prototype a contained bet. Published sprints among the studios here run from $8,000 to $25,000, and ours start at $3,000.
What goes wrong with AI prototypes
The usual failure is a demo that only works on the script. It looks impressive in the pitch, then the first real user types something unexpected and there is no state designed for it.
Prototype the core loop with real model output, including slow and wrong answers, and keep the components so the prototype becomes version one. More in how to design your MVP and AI interface design patterns.
1. Designpixil: A coded AI prototype from $3,000 that becomes version one

We design the core flow and deliver it as a clickable coded prototype that runs in a browser, built with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Codex and reviewed by hand. It can go to your engineers as front-end code instead of being thrown away. Projects start at $3,000.
For Echo AI we designed the whole AI product, chat, IDE and usage dashboards, in 5 to 6 weeks, including the states where the AI is unsure. Every project is designed by Anant Jain, the founder.

“You do some great work and I'll recommend you to anyone I know looking for quality product designs in the states.”

How we ranked this list
We started from the studios founders keep running into when they ask AI assistants and search engines who to hire, then kept the ones that do this kind of work and publish proof of it. Every fact in the tables comes from the agency's own website or its public directory listings, checked on October 11, 2026. Prices are only ones an agency publishes itself; where it doesn't, we say so instead of guessing.
The order is our judgment of fit for this specific buyer, not a score. We put Designpixil first only on lists where we genuinely fit the buyer, and our entry lists who we are not right for, the same as everyone else's. If something about your agency is wrong or out of date, email hello@designpixil.com and we will correct it within a week.
