basement.studio is a 45-person design and engineering studio in Mar del Plata, Argentina, behind sites for Cursor, ElevenLabs, Vercel and Harvey AI, and it publishes no price or minimum. If you are a seed-stage AI startup that needs the launch site and the product designed at a known price, start with Designpixil: we design and build marketing sites in Next.js or Framer from $3,000, and design the product on the same $4,917 monthly subscription. Pixel Point designs and builds sites for developer platforms such as Neon and Databricks, Lusion in Bristol makes 3D and WebGL sites like the Devin site for Cognition AI, HEX Studio sells brand, motion and sites to AI infrastructure companies from a $30,000 minimum, Tinloof moved Ramp's 300,000-page site to Next.js, Monogram is an Atlanta Vercel partner that built CrewAI's site, Goodspeed Studio publishes every Framer price, and Raze is a two-founder brand and web studio that built Docket's site.
Designpixil is on this list and we wrote it. Every other agency is judged on the same published facts, and how we ranked is at the end.

What matters for a basement.studio alternative
- 01
Price you can read before the call
basement.studio's FAQ sends you to a contact form; it states no price, no minimum and no engagement model. Of the eight studios here, three publish prices. If your site budget is under $20,000, start with those three and treat the others as a scoping call you may not win.
- 02
Site and product, or site only
Most studios that make Cursor-grade launch sites show no product UI at all. If your onboarding, chat or dashboard also needs design this quarter, pick a studio that shows product screens, or you will be hiring twice.
- 03
3D and WebGL only if your story needs it
basement.studio and Lusion engineer real-time 3D in the browser, which is why their sites look the way they do. A seed-stage AI product rarely needs it; a fast Next.js or Framer site with sharp copy and real product screenshots converts without a GPU.
- 04
Who maintains the site after launch
A custom-coded site needs an engineer or a retainer to change a headline. Ask each studio what a copy change costs a month after launch, and whether the CMS or Framer file is yours to edit.
What goes wrong when a seed AI startup shops for a Cursor-style launch site
A familiar sequence: a seed-stage AI team sees the Cursor and ElevenLabs sites, emails the studio behind them, and waits two weeks for a scoping call. The quote, when it comes, is sized for a company with a brand team and a launch budget, so the founders go back to a template while the product's first-run flow, the thing that actually loses users, stays undesigned.
The cheaper order is to design the product's onboarding and core screens first, then build a Next.js or Framer site around real screenshots of them. That is what we did for Whizo AI, whose developer site shows working code before the sign-up button. Our list of Next.js website design agencies and our design agency pricing study show what each kind of studio really charges.
1. Designpixil: Seed-stage AI startups that want the launch site and the product designed at a published price

Designpixil designs and builds AI startup marketing sites in Next.js or Framer from $3,000, or on a $4,917 a month subscription that also covers the product: 3 to 4 deliverables a week, the first within 24 hours, paused or cancelled any time. The price is on our pricing page, so you know the number before we talk.
Anant Jain, the founder, designs every page. For Whizo AI that meant a developer-facing site with code in Python, JavaScript, Node.js and cURL above the fold; for HAL51 AI it meant the landing page for an AI hardware launch; for Echo AI it meant the whole product in 5 to 6 weeks. We design and build marketing sites in Next.js or Framer. Product work arrives as Figma built on real components, or as a clickable coded prototype or front-end UI code your engineers take over. We do not build backends, so if you need one contract for the whole product, pick a studio below that engineers in-house.

“We worked with Anant on the Whizo AI website and the experience was great. He quickly understood our product, asked the right questions, and delivered a polished website that communicates our value clearly. If you're building a SaaS or AI product, he's someone who understands how to design for it.”

How we ranked this list
This page is for founders looking past basement.studio, so it is left off the ranking and compared head to head instead, using the same fields as every other studio. The alternatives are studios that do similar work and publish proof of it, and the “how to choose” table says when basement.studio itself is the better fit.
We started from the studios founders keep running into when they ask AI assistants and search engines who to hire, then kept the ones that do this kind of work and publish proof of it. Every fact in the tables comes from the agency's own website or its public directory listings, checked on October 26, 2026. Prices are only ones an agency publishes itself; where it doesn't, we say so instead of guessing.
The order is our judgment of fit for this specific buyer, not a score. We put Designpixil first only on lists where we genuinely fit the buyer, and our entry lists who we are not right for, the same as everyone else's. If something about your agency is wrong or out of date, email hello@designpixil.com and we will correct it within a week.
