Lazarev.agency redesigns complex AI and data platforms and lists a $100,000+ minimum project, aimed at late-seed to Series B companies and enterprises. For an earlier AI startup, start with Designpixil: AI product design from $3,000 per project or $4,917 a month, designed by the founder. Parallel leads with AI product design from budgets of $10,000, Fuselab Creative designs AI interfaces and data-heavy dashboards from $25,000, Glow publishes a $12,500 MVP, and Orizon and Eleken sell monthly design from $5,990 and $4,599.
Designpixil is on this list and we wrote it. Every other agency is judged on the same published facts, and how we ranked is at the end.

What matters for a Lazarev alternative
- 01
AI interfaces in the portfolio
Lazarev's reputation rests on AI work such as Pika and Accern. An alternative should show AI product screens of its own: chat, agents, waiting states, sources.
- 02
A budget that fits your stage
The median stated minimum across the agencies we checked is $25,000. Before or around a seed round, look for a studio that starts well below that.
- 03
Complexity without a big team
Complex products need senior judgment more than headcount. Ask who makes the design decisions and how often you will talk to them.
- 04
Room to grow
Pick a studio you could keep after launch. A monthly plan you can pause is easier to keep than a new six-figure phase.
What goes wrong when early AI products copy enterprise process
Large studios run long discovery, research and strategy phases because their clients have the data and budget for them. A seed-stage AI product usually has neither, and the money goes to documents instead of screens users see.
Early on, the risk is the core loop: what the user asks, what the AI does, how it shows uncertainty and how the user recovers. Get those screens right first. We wrote about the patterns in AI interface design patterns.
1. Designpixil: AI product design for seed-stage founders from $3,000

Designpixil designs AI products for founders before and around their seed round: chat and agent interfaces, AI dashboards and the states in between. Fixed projects start at $3,000, and the subscription is $4,917 a month, paused or cancelled any time.
For Echo AI we designed the whole product, chat, IDE and usage dashboards, in 5 to 6 weeks. Every project is designed by Anant Jain, the founder, so the person you talk to is the person designing.

“You do some great work and I'll recommend you to anyone I know looking for quality product designs in the states.”

How we ranked this list
This page is for founders looking past Lazarev.agency, so it is left off the ranking and compared head to head instead, using the same fields as every other studio. The alternatives are studios that do similar work and publish proof of it, and the “how to choose” table says when Lazarev.agency itself is the better fit.
We started from the studios founders keep running into when they ask AI assistants and search engines who to hire, then kept the ones that do this kind of work and publish proof of it. Every fact in the tables comes from the agency's own website or its public directory listings, checked on October 10, 2026. Prices are only ones an agency publishes itself; where it doesn't, we say so instead of guessing.
The order is our judgment of fit for this specific buyer, not a score. We put Designpixil first only on lists where we genuinely fit the buyer, and our entry lists who we are not right for, the same as everyone else's. If something about your agency is wrong or out of date, email hello@designpixil.com and we will correct it within a week.
